Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paperwork Ltd website and your purchase of tickets to, and attendance at, events organized by Paperwork Ltd ("Paperwork", "we", "us"). By using this site or buying a ticket, you agree to these Terms.
1. Events & tickets
Paperwork organizes club crawls and events across Toronto in partnership with independent venues. A ticket or pass grants you entry to participating venues on the stated date, subject to each venue's own capacity, admission, and house rules. Tickets are not transferable to another date and do not guarantee entry to any specific venue if that venue is at capacity.
2. Age & identification
Our events take place at licensed venues. You must be 19 years of age or older and carry valid government-issued photo identification. Venues may refuse entry to anyone who cannot provide acceptable ID or who is intoxicated, in line with Ontario law and their liquor licence.
3. Conduct at events
You agree to follow the instructions of Paperwork hosts, venue security, and staff at all times. We and participating venues reserve the right to refuse or revoke entry, without refund, to anyone who behaves unlawfully, dangerously, or disruptively, or who breaches a venue's rules.
4. Refunds, changes & cancellations
Except where required by law, tickets are non-refundable. Line-ups, participating venues, timings, and routes are subject to change, and a change of venue or schedule is not grounds for a refund. If Paperwork cancels an event outright, we will offer a refund or transfer to a comparable event.
5. Assumption of risk & liability
Attending nightlife events carries inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paperwork is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your attendance, from the acts or omissions of participating venues or third parties, or from your own conduct. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Venue partners
Venues participate in our events under separate agreements. Each venue remains responsible for its own premises, staff, service, and compliance with its liquor licence and local by-laws.
7. Intellectual property
The Paperwork Ltd name, logo, site content, and event photography are owned by Paperwork Ltd or used with permission. You may not reproduce them without our written consent.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your use applies.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
